Arthi Rabikrisson is the Founder and Managing Director of Prerna Advisory, based in South Africa, that focuses on neuroscience-based coaching and assessment for individuals, teams’ and corporates; strategic business consulting to SME’s; and capital introduction to alternative funding sources, predominantly from UHNWIs, family offices, DFIs and SWFs.
With over 15 years’ experience in investment banking, Arthi uses this expertise, as a capital introducer, to connect founders with funders globally to attract capital investment and board expertise into impact enterprises and selected funds.
In December 2021, Arthi won the Leadership Coaching Award in the Finance Monthly UK Global Awards 2021.
In August 2021, Arthi won the Positive Role Model Award (Gauteng, and Southern Africa) in the Entrepreneur/Consultant category at the 9th Gender Mainstreaming Awards.
Arthi is an ACC ICF accredited coach, a member of the Association of Coaching UK, a Master Partner Practitioner for the Neuro-Agility Profile™ Assessment, and a member and contributor of thought leadership insights on the expert panel on the Forbes Coaches Council, along with articles for Forbes. Arthi is also a member of the global Thinkers 360 group of up-and-coming thought leaders.
Arthi is an MBA graduate from Henley Business School, having been awarded the prestigious Archbishop Desmond Tutu scholarship at the age of 26 to complete her studies. Her thesis on EI in teams to attain competitive advantage in financial firms was awarded a distinction. She completed the Professional Certificate in Coaching and Behavioural Change through Henley Business School also.
She is a keynote speaker on local and global event platforms and summits, advocating for women’s leadership, career growth, and development through the understanding of neuroscience, and entrepreneurship.
Arthi has focused her work predominantly on women empowerment and development, where using her coaching, strategy, sales, and finance skills, she helps women craft their personal and business brands holistically and with confidence. Arthi launched her first masterclass on Ubuntu Leadership: Empowering Women in Business in September 2021.
Arthi hosts the growing Inspire your Life podcast, aimed at bringing uplifting stories of real people, with implementable advice and lessons learned for the listener’s benefit. She further hosts The Swan Effect podcast which aims to simplify the complexities of money management and personal finances.
Arthi is an Independent Non-executive Director of Global Grassroots, an NGO focusing on woman empowerment in vulnerable communities, currently focusing on Rwanda and Uganda. She was appointed as Board Treasurer in October 2021.
Arthi was awarded a partial bursary to complete the Virtual Open Doors Board Programme, through The Boardroom Africa, a platform aiming to bring more women onto boards of companies. She completed her Certificate in Company Direction with the Institute of Directors UK in October 2021. This underlies her goal to strive for more women on boards who understand the complexities of board management along with imparting expertise.
