If Friends Reunion did anything for its fans it was bringing back all the nostalgia. Yeah, we are talking about Jennifer Aniston and David Schwimmer, the iconic duo from 90’s favorite show. Remember how we all waited for them for ten years to finally get back together?
So, the thing is, they met, they acted together, and then bam! 27 years later, they might be dating in real life too. Could we BE any more excited?
While appearing on the Friends Reunion special, the two confirmed that they were crushing hard on each other during filming the show, but they never crossed the line.
A source recently revealed, “After the reunion, it was clear that recalling all the memories had stirred up their feelings. The chemistry they always tried to suppress, was still there. They began texting immediately after filming for the Reunion Special. In July 2021, David flew from his home in NY, to see Jennifer in LA.”
The source has also revealed that they have been spending time, cooking dinners, chatting, and laughing at Jennifer’s house. They were also spotted in one of Jen’s favorite vineyards in Santa Barbara, drinking wine together.
When Schwimmer and Aniston admitted their feelings for each other during the Reunion episode, it became the highlight of the show. Their confession gave the fans hope that they might become the ‘lobsters’ in real life too. Some also thought their dating would be the real ending of Rachel Green and Ross Geller.
They also mentioned that despite having a crush on each other, they never acted on it. “One of us was always in a relationship,” David said. Jen then replied, “We channeled all our love and affection for one another into Rachel and Ross.” Perhaps, that’s why their on-screen chemistry seemed so real! With their dating rumors in August 2021, their fans’ collective hearts went into a massive meltdown and social media busted with hilarious memes. Netizens started hoping that real-life Rachel and Ross finally ended their ‘indefinite break’.
But, as per the Huffington Post, a representative for David has now denied the rumors to be “false” and claimed that the FRIENDS starts are still just friends. We are yet to receive any response from Jen’s end.
